Wasn't a bullshit penalty call if you're referring to the crosscheck. The rulebook says it's a penalty and the NHL said they were going to enforce it this year and did so ever so briefly and then stopped. But to be fair, Merrill's cross-check was up by the face and those definitely need to be called.

Didn't look like face, more like hands to hands. I could be wrong but a cross to the face will usually leave a mark especially with no shield.

Agreed. Pretty blatant cross-check. It should have been called 100%, now if the NHL could be consistent in calling them.
