Addison was a -4 in ‘22, a -17 last year and -3 so far this year. Oh, he’s -1 with the Sharks. This from a player on the ice with the first unit power play. To be -17 and limited play in the penalty kill, you see why he’s gone. Addison is not a support player, what ever the heck that is. Just ask the goalies he let down with poor defense. Maybe he'll get the defense element one day but MN never got the development they needed. He didn't become Duncan Keith, Sam Girard or Spurgeon 2.0. He has played over 1 full game of power play time, and his team has only outscored the opposition 5-3 in those power play minutes.
