    That's Wild

    • Travis Boyd has spent his fair share of time around the NHL. First drafted by the Washington Capitals way back in 2011, the Golden Gopher spent a couple years with his drafted team, then signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs, went to Vancouver, and then ended up being a more consistent player with the Arizona Coyotes. But he has returned home and is looking for a peak opportunity to be a bottom-sixer for John Hynes. [Pioneer Press]
    • Another depth player for this season, Zach Bogosian has found his fit with the Wild. [Hockey Wilderness]
    • Wild must improve their penalty kill if they want to keep their special teams afloat. [StarTribune]

    Off the trail...

    • The folks over at ESPN jot down their bold predictions for the 2024-25 NHL season. [ESPN]
    • Igor Shesterkin and the New York Rangers are still figuring out a contract extension. But just in case he hits unrestricted free agency, here are some very early predictions as to where he might end up. [Bleacher Report]
    • One interesting player up north is Nick Robertson. The Leafs winger is battling hard for a spot after overcoming injuries and the team seemingly not liking what they saw. Well, this preseason the young forward is giving the team plenty to think about. [Sportsnet]
