The Walk today talks a bit about the game, a bit about the team, and bit about the situation the team finds itself in. It's all pretty straight forward, and nothing you haven't seen before, to be honest. Except the article from our favorite chocolate loving columnist. Absolute must read if your brain cell count is a bit too high today.
Some programming notes, I'll be putting together the third annual Hockey Wilderness Playoff Bracket Challenge in the next couple of days. Keep your eyes peeled for that post, as we don't have a ton of time between when the seeds are set and when the playoffs start. We might have some other fun in store for the playoffs as well, depending on the motivation level of the crew.
Otherwise, enjoy your day.
Current Positioning
Draft position: 7th overall. One point from 4th, three points from eleventh.
Wild News
Tom Powers: Overhaul of Wild Worth a Few Lumps - Again, the point Tom is trying to make is solid. The way he does it destroys the credibility of his argument and leaves me wondering how he continues to be allowed to write about topics he has no knowledge of. The CBA expressly prohibits "one last look at some of the the farmhands." They can't just call up Hackett and let him play out the stretch. It's against the rules, man. Basic CBA knowledge would be great if you're going to get paid to write about the league.
Tending the Fields
Station Nation: The Quarter-Finals Are All Set - Good team is good.
The Third Intermission: Bulldogs Bite Aeros, Win 3-2 in OT - Borderline team is borderline.
