Since I received a handful of emails and a comment on another post asking where the Walk was yesterday, I'll apologize. I generally find it tacky when writers apologize for their absence, as if people's lives revolve around me showing up or not. That said, I appreciate that so many of you are waiting for the Walk in the morning, and I will always strive to provide it.
I was dealing with a few things yesterday morning that apparently can only be done in the hours that no one was intended to be awake. Nothing serious, mostly completely non-serious. So... no Walk. Sorry about that.
As for today, make sure you read the first story, it's important. Spread the word, too. Then, head to Facebook for the Question of the Day, and make sure you comment on the Flip Cam contest so you can have a chance to win it. Winner announced Sunday during the Ducks game.

Phoenix trip emotional for DaCosta | StarTribune.com - A jersey auction to benefit part of the hockey family? Yes please. It is awesome that Russo took the time, and the Star Trib gave the space, to something of this nature. Shows how important an event it really is. So, deep, buy a signed jersey, and help out if you can. These sweaters won't go cheap, and for one of the few times in life, that's a good thing.
Top line gets a reprieve and comes through big in victory over Coyotes | StarTribune.com - Remember... reprieves are generally temporary, and usually only happen before an execution.
Wild's No. 1 line breaks out in 3-2 win over Phoenix; Cullen has groin injury | StarTribune.com - Cullen's hurt, huh? Yeah... just what they needed.

Hitting The Post: Pacific Division a mess; How bout them Panthers? - I have no strong hate for any team in the Pacific... well, except for the Ducks. It is really nice to see them tearing each other apart for once, rather than just rolling over for the Sharks.
