With the Wild back on US soil, and likely all sleeping soundly, even at this late morning hour, we take one last Walk through Finland. Check under the beds, make sure there are no socks left lying around. Everything left behind becomes property of the management. Oh, and don't worry about those three points left on the table. No way that comes back to haunt. I mean, it's only three points, right?
Today's Walk features the beat writers, some scary video, and a re-cap of last night's action from KiPA. Enjoy the day all.
Video of the Day:
(Stick tap to Puck Daddy for the video) - Scary stuff as Ondrej Pavalec simply collapses at the far end of the ice. He was taken to the hospital, where he was alert and asking about the game. This morning's news is that they ran a battery of tests, and have no idea what happened. I don't think that makes anyone feel better.
Wild News:
Wild's trip to Finland isn't pointless | StarTribune.com - The headline writers at the Strib are brutal. Pointless... get it?
Wrapping up Finland trip, and the difference in media culture | StarTribune.com - Interesting stuff from Russo about the trip in general. A bit on the game as well.
Defense suffers loss of Zidlicky - TwinCities.com - The Pioneer Press noted Zidlicky's loss.
KiPA's Korner:
Hitting The Post: Caps search for reset button; Stars win (?!) - A full on re-cap of the league. Enjoy. If you dare.
