On the bright side, the Iowa Wild seem to be rolling right now and if you're a fan of the local college hockey scene the Minnesota Golden Gophers seem to be on top of the world as well. Not to be forgotten, the Gophers Women's Hockey team extended their winning streak this weekend to 55-games with a sweep over the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
A lot to be proud for the local hockey scene, here's to hoping the Wild can take a queue from the college kids and their affiliate in Iowa.
