The Minnesota Wild continued their losing streak into November with a 2-3 loss to the St Louis Blues Thursday night. The Wild played hard, but lady luck was not of their side. Marian Gaborik and Pavol Demitra both returned to the lineup after missing time with groin injuries, and both made an offensive impact. They each picked up a goal and an assist, but nobody could sneak one past Blues goalie Manny Legace after Jay McKee broke a 2-2 tie in the third. The Wild turned in a furious rally for the final 10 minutes, but it just wasn’t enough. This was the first loss for Minnesota in the past 6 meetings between the Wild and the Blues at the Xcel Energy Center.
