  • Stephane Veilleux scores two of the five needed to beat the Vancouver Canucks

    Guest

Stephane Veilleux is quickly becoming one of my favorite Minnesota Wild players. He has the heart that some guys don’t, he has the perseverance that some guys don’t and now he finally has a two goal game (that some guys don’t).  Veilleux scored two goals in the 5-4 shootout win over the Vancouver Canucks in Vancouver.

Canuck Willie Mitchell (former Minnesota Wild player) was back on the ice after missing 10 games with a back injury and boy was he feeling sensitive. Wild player Brian Rolston hardly even hit Mitchell behind the Vancouver net going for a puck and Mitchell along with Canuck tough guy Alexandre Burrows went psycho on Rolston. Rolston held his own in the fight, but any one who knows Rolston knows he wouldn’t do anything to Mitchell on purpose. I think Burrows was just plain looking for a fight.

The Wild and the Canucks meet again in Minnesota on Tuesday. Minnesota Wild Tickets are once again available only from local ticket brokers. Be prepared to pay a high price of admission to be a part of the team of 18,000.
