The first game of the season between the Minnesota Wild and the Colorado Avalanche is always a little special. A twinkle in everyone’s eye. A sheer glisten across the ice before blood is eventually spilled on it. Beautiful.
Here’s the lineup.
Adam Beckman makes his NHL debut, Calen Addison makes his season debut, and Connor Dewar is still here hanging out. It might be a tough one, but at least the Avs don’t have Mikko Rantanen.
