  • Erik Reitz sent to Houston

    Guest

The Wild sent defenseman Erik Reitz to the Houston Aeros on Tuesday. Reitz was a 6th round draft pick for the Wild in 2000 and has played the past five seasons in Houston. Coach Jacques Lemaire kept Reitz on the Wild roster due to lower body injuries to Kurtis Foster and Petteri Nummelin. Reitz played one game with the Wild last year and 5 games the season prior so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a few games this year – I wouldn’t recommend him for your fantasy hockey team or anything, but he has potential to play on the Wild defense in the state of hockey!
