It's a very important game against an always-tough opponent.

The Minnesota Wild have just four games remaining to make it count and on Saturday night, they're facing a team that has always played spoiler and has been a thorn in their side for so damn long. The St. Louis Blues are coming to town.

But thankfully, they are not going to be facing a Wild team that is down on their luck because they have lost three consecutive games. Even if they lost the heart of this team in Joel Eriksson Ek for multiple weeks. No, they are going to be fighting harder than ever because Kirill Kaprizov has returned from injury after a month-long absence.

In addition to Kaprizov returning, Gustav Nyquist is going to be making his Wild debut, to supplement the loss of both Eriksson Ek and Oskar Sundqvist from earlier this week. It's a new lineup that might look weird, but it at least has some talent sprinkled through it.

    Projected Wild lineup

Kirill Kaprizov -- Ryan Hartman -- Mats Zuccarello
Marcus Johansson -- Frederick Gaudreau -- Matt Boldy
Gustav Nyquist -- Sam Steel -- Marcus Foligno
Brandon Duhaime -- Connor Dewar -- Ryan Reaves

    Jake Middleton -- Jared Spurgeon
    Jonas Brodin -- Matt Dumba
    Jon Merrill -- John Klingberg

    Filip Gustavsson
    Marc-Andre Fleury

    Projected Blues lineup

Brandon Saad -- Brayden Schenn -- Jordan Kyrou
Jake Neighbours -- Michael Buchinger -- Kasperi Kapanen
Sammy Blais -- Robert Thomas -- Jakub Vrana
Alexei Toropchenko -- Nathan Walker -- Tyler Pitlick

    Nick Leddy -- Colton Parayko
    Torey Krug -- Justin Faulk
    Calle Rosen -- Dmitri Samorukov

    Jordan Binnington
    Vadim Zherenko

“Originally lined with green argon tubes when it was built in the 1980s, Bank of America Plaza was renovated with LED lighting in 2013. It's this “neon green” that lights up the Dallas skyline and inspired the Stars' new alternate color.”

Ick. But silver lining, I guess I'm happy they don't really tap into the North Stars lore.

Oh, weird, that was his first ENG this year. I thought he'd scored a few.

Doesn't matter. He's an elite defender. Who needs scoring when you're preventing all the goals.

    Welcome!

Hard to see him playing playoff games, but you never know, I guess.

It's what Walz does...with literally every team throughout the game...to include the Wild, which is even weirder.

Also says "National Hockey League" rather than NHL. Likes to say full names and long-hand versions of commonly shortened nicknames and stuff.

But wait until you hear about linechanges and faceoffs. That's peak Walz analysis.

can they give him a test drive before the play offs with out affecting future contract status?
