The young guys are here in Chicago.

They're here! Since the Minnesota Wild are facing the lowly Chicago Blackhawks and are pretty locked in the standings, they kept Kirill Kaprizov, Mats Zuccarello, Jonas Brodin, and Jared Spurgeon in Minnesota for the one-game road trip to Illinois. But! This means that recently recalled Marco Rossi and Nic Petan get to make their impressions against a bad team and hometown Brock Faber gets to make his NHL debut.

It isn't the most interesting game when it comes to the context of the season, but we will be keeping an eye on all the young guys and debutant.

    Projected Wild lineup

Marcus Johansson -- Frederick Gaudreau -- Matt Boldy
Nic Petan -- Marco Rossi -- Ryan Hartman
Gustav Nyquist -- Sam Steel -- Marcus Foligno
Brandon Duhaime -- Connor Dewar -- Ryan Reaves

    Jake Middleton -- Calen Addison
    Alex Goligoski -- Brock Faber
    Jon Merrill -- John Klingberg

    Filip Gustavsson
    Marc-Andre Fleury

    Projected Blackhawks lineup

Tyler Johnson -- Jonathan Toews -- Jason Dickinson
Anders Bjork -- Andreas Athanasiou -- Buddy Robinson
Boris Katchouk -- Jujhar Khaira -- Joey Anderson
Austin Wagner -- MacKenzie Entwistle -- Reese Johnson

    Caleb Jones -- Seth Jones
    Wyatt Kaiser -- Connor Murphy
    Andreas Englund -- Nikita Zaitsev

    Alex Stalock
    Petr Mrazek

Just tonight? He's been lost for the majority of the year and/or hurt.

Normally you would think that he would be throwing his weight around. Apparently he needs to get mad to up his game.

Wild giving up a lot of shots. I hate to be so negative but the Wild are not good with Rossi in the lineup this regular season. Addison's month off doesn't help I'm sure but half-assing it against Chicago cause they're bottom-dwellers sure doesn't look good.

WTF, why even go to Chicago and play the game if they're gonna let the Blackhawks rack up 30+ shots in two periods. Next time I'll take Beckman and Walker. If you asked me this ought to be the last auditions for Addison and Rossi. Trade those guys for other prospects or package em to upgrade a wing or bottom pair guy for next season and just move on.

Haha, at least the Wild are winning the blocked shots category cause otherwise the Blackhawks would have about ~50.

He's had a piss-poor year. There's really no way to sugar coat it. Again, hopefully he's playing hurt and last year wasn't just an anomaly.

Again Rossi just playing to soft, not a strong enough stick, soft little pass attempt.  Not in this league.

Little Euro precedent. Still haven't thought of one.

Announcer just said Rossi has been pretty much invisible tonight, and pretty much invisible and all the games he’s played

    I rest my case

Russo just posted that the line might set a negative Corsi record. I could believe it.

MoJo not skating well at the end of the period. hope he isn't hurt

He's taken a couple of awkward spills. I hope it's nothing serious.

I thought Rossi would be better, not as passive.  I disagree with him being invisible, he's been visibly poor.  Too much gliding, to much soft play, no battle, no desire. Rossi still doesn't take the body.  He's got to be much, much more assertive.
