UK_Soldier Verified Member
Hynes, you're a straight shooter, pretty structured, kind of like it, but you need to get a little crazy in you.

I love him and he's an energy bug, but he needs to figure out his shot/how to produce some offense and equally, or more importantly learn how to win faceoffs.

Sam Verified Member
Well now the Avenots will catch up to us, then we’ll be playing for a wildcard spot.. 1
Protec Verified Member
Perimeter team, easy to play against just like last year. No sixty minute effort. I blame NoJo being back in the lineup. 2
UK_Soldier Verified Member
Welp. Put in a little effort anyway. Chances and results weren't there. Disappointing end to this road trip, but 3-2 ain't bad. 2
UK_Soldier Verified Member
I initially think the Canes might destroy us, but then I think, no, that's the type of game this team wins. Edit. Shit, forget it, it's at home. Edited February 5 by UK_Soldier 1
Protec Verified Member
Big Boston defense has no trouble boxing MN out and letting them do perimeter stuff. MN plugs the middle well enough to block their own shots. I'm so disgusted right now. Chemistry sucks, confidence is gone, momentum is zero. 9-0 in the last two games. 1
Enforceror Verified Member
Despite the score, I didn't feel like it was a totally lop-sided game. We had a few good looks and could have made it 3-2. We were definitely on the perimeter, I'd like to see a little more fight to the net. Ohgren looked like he took another step despite not scoring any goals. I'll take that over another Ottawa...

Even when the Wild were in the o-zone, the Bruins controlled it aside from a couple of 5 minute stints.

Way better effort than the Sens, but like you/Protec said they didn't have any chances and didn't create them. You can put in tons of effort on the perimeter and it does absolutely nothing. Ogre is feisty and wants to be around the net and it looks like he has no quit when the puck is near him. The Wild might have something.

Dango Verified Member
I notice when Folingo is in front of the other goalies net after a whistle nobody does that crosscheck thing on him to clear the net .
Protec Verified Member
Ogie looks like it's beginning to click for him. More sandpaper and battle to his game. Trying to get inside and net-front. Hustle and backcheck with no fear of the corners and board-battles like NoJo. Keep it up Ogie, the goals will come when the team gets it's swagger back and says goodbye to Schmoehansson...
Protec Verified Member
Final thought, Fleury has been good this year. 100% not MN's weak point. Tough to take a loss when you're only letting in two on 30+ shots, one being a deflection. The PP is shit and the lack of Kaprizov hurts pretty bad. The silver lining is the Wild had a good enough start and this stretch illuminates issues for potential solutions. GMBG needs to do something and activating NoJo is equivalent to shooting one's own foot.

Swap em out.

Effective physically and aggressively making hockey plays. Best game by Ogz IMO now some negativity. Zuc should give 97 his salary from last four years (and next years too) because without 97 Zuc has no business in the league. He’s a Tyson Jost clone Edited February 5 by Pewterschmidt
