mnfaninnc Verified Member
Mike Sullivan is supposedly on the hot seat too. It is my belief that if he becomes available, the Wild will immediately snatch him up. One reason he's still in Pittsburgh? Crosby likes him. I don't know what exact role Sully would play here, but I do think that he and Guerin are tight, as well as Hynes. Somehow they will figure out how to make a 3 headed monster. I think for starters, Hynes is still coaching and Sully is in the FO. But, eventually, I believe it will be Heinzy in the FO and Sully behind the bench. What St. Louis has shown is that if your guy becomes available, you've got to move in a hurry. Montgomery wouldn't necessarily be my guy, but it was theirs. mnfaninnc Verified Member
I'm happy Kaprizov is back and avoided the injury. Any news on Khus? While missing Kaprizov was a pretty big deal in Calgary, missing Dino also had an affect. I didn't think Boyd was bad, nor was I upset with Jones or Shore. But, it looked like an AHL line just hoping to not give up any goals while they were on the ice. I also thought that putting Merrill in for Chisholm was a mistake. Calgary isn't so heavy anymore, and a quick skating defender was the better play against that team. Honestly, Chisholm has played Merrill into the "break glass in case of emergency" category. Merrill hasn't played bad, Chisholm has merely played better.
Citizen Strife Verified Member
Kap is a game time decision. What I did find out is Logan Stanley is hurt...so no "accidents" this time.
MacGyver Verified Member
I don't think Cagguila targeted or tried to dirty hit Kaprizov at all. Looked to me like Kaprizov kind of jump cut In front of him and Cagguila just ran into him. He had time to straighten up a bit before contact. Things are happening in micro seconds in these instances. It just didn't look intentional to me.

Good, we don’t need that crap.

We saw a lot of slow motion replay on it, but at game speed, probably just a horrible accident. I've not known Cagguila to be a dirty player, and his friend from UND on the Wild could have seconded that.
