Protec Verified Member
I promised last night to rip on NoJo today. This happens all the time. I'm gonna do this as often as possible this year and capture these Euroisms that NoJo epitomizes. Episode 1: NoJo cannot stay hot. Game one was good but the Rask-effect was right on cue. NoJo blowbagged the shift when the tying goal was scored. He's the kind of player who simply doesn't try when the game is on the line and his team needs a gutsy, or determined play. He's a one-faceted offense guy who coasts and puzzyfoots around, going through the motions. Perfect sequence here like I did many times last season. 🤪

RedLake Verified Member
Nojo can't take a hit, deliver a hit, backcheck, hustle, etc etc etc etc. Why does he get marched onto the ice is beyond my common sense.

He's been averaging 14-15mins TOI and most games he's invisible in any good way. Noticeable when the other team scores or has a dominant shift. Meanwhile, young, hungry players wait in IA or the pressbox.
Protec Verified Member
Here's the latest NoJo nullification. This time is was the shutout. Here's the link to the highlight. I'm just gonna dump the pic-sequence and let you guys see if I'm right the way I'm seeing it. No joke, if I hated NoJo's style and wanted to make fun of him to no end every game he plays, it's like he knows and wants me to get my way. So weird, this has been going on now non-stop since all last season. Often it's costing the Wild goals against which is backed up by his +/-. https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/cbj-vs-min/2024/10/19/2024020083 Â

Protec Verified Member
There is no way the coaches and GM don't notice this pattern. It's horrible, get that guy out of the lineup. How many chances does he need? Anyone who ever bitched that younger players are being blocked, look no further than Euro neck-beard extraordinaire who gets 14mins every game with some of the best linemates on the team and still does nuthin good. More NA players like Jones, Clarke, or Boyd please. Euros like Zuccy or Russians are different. Ek sets the bar for elite Swedes. NoJo is a morale-busting blowbag. He forfeited the middle of the ice on a "going nowhere" play to enable the Chinakov goal putting an end to the shutout. If he had any NA guts or hockey-dignity, he'd retire right eff'n now. I predict many more of these NoJo-roasts before it's over. GMBG and Hynes should be embarrassed.
Protec Verified Member
Never know when a game thread is gonna happen. NoJo had a grade A on the PP at 9:20 in the 1st. Otherwise didn't stand out. Ogie had one nice chance to shoot the puck against Tarasov. Knudi and Midds scored a good goal at ~ 15:10 of the 2nd. NHL bogus call. Top angle doesn't show how contact was initiated between Lauko and the D-man. Dumbest crap. The NHL is so full of crud sometimes, it's aggravating.
