That being said, man, Colorado has sure been active this TDL. Well, Khusnutdinov is 5 years younger, probably going to meet or exceed Duhaime's career point total in a season (one can hope), and they get a mid-round asset for the trouble. Win win. Maybe Beckman will earn more this time, or perhaps Khusnutdinov will take his place once he's up to speed and he'll be heading back to Iowa. It would be nice to see him do well. Last time he was called up BG said it was his opportunity. Didn't hit the ice once. It would be hard to believe he didn't see the ice because of how he practiced if that was his opportunity. Unlikely we would have signed him in the off season. It's a good move. Opens up a spot for other players. I hope Beckman gets substantial time on the ice... and Rossi. Beckman's not shown anything in the times he's been called up. Same with Walker. I don't think either of them will end up being more than Lettieri or Lucchini level players, but I'd be glad to have them prove me wrong. If last night's game was any indication, Beckman makes Johansson look like an all star. He seems timid. It’s always been explained away by apologists that he’s hurt or not put in situation to succeed. Expectations for Beckman have been dialed down.
