Deadline trades so far. (From Wild perspective.)

Tarasenko to FL.

Avalanche trade for Middlestadt who has been pretty good this year for Buffalo. He's gonna be an RFA. MN guy getting a good chance to be with a good team. His first playoffs. Get to see him play MN a few times before the season ends.

The Rangers traded a 2nd and conditional pick for Wennberg from Seattle. Interesting price for a 25pt Swede. Makes me wish NoJo could get the Wild a 2nd.

Oilers got Henrique.

Sounds like Zucker is on the move and SJS has yet to send out any players.

Will Guerin move anybody or acquire any new players? I think, it's probably gonna be more of an off-season deal for the Wild but still fun to speculate.

Could Dumba come back to MN after this season when Goligoski or Merrill are gone? Will MN move any young guys they've evaluated fully? If Guerin isn't wheel'n & deal'n this week, that'll be a few pretty static months til the draft.

Hanafin to VGK.

I'd be interested in a breakdown of this Summer's potential UFA market and where the Wild are at with expiring deals & cap.

Obviously the Wild aren't swinging for the fences this off season but if Goligoski is out and Fleury's number comes down, will MN be looking for economy upgrades again, or could they swing a draft day trade perhaps that opens things up a little bit?

Avalanche gave up a third for Duhaime but Toronto gave up two picks, a 3rd & 5th for Edmundson with Washington holding back salary.

Interesting to track and see if what Guerin gets is capital for future deals or whether the Wild wanna use the picks. Since Duhaime was a 4th himself in 2016 so getting a 3rd for ten years later is at least equal value on paper.

Nashville got Beuvillier for a 5th. Maybe Nashville is looking to get smaller to match up against the Wild. Guess we'll find out Sunday in what is projected to be a terrible home loss against a division rival.

Dallas hasn't done much yet but Colorado getting Middlestadt was smart. He's had a good year, effective on the PP, and plays center. The Avs also got Trenin.

Some activity in the Central between teams. Don't always see a lot of that and we know mnfaninnc is against it. 😁

Deweys' Era is over boys. Sad story perhaps for those of us who appreciate the heart and guts of the speedy grinder. Chip in a goal here and there but kinda a placeholder.

All the prospect lovers who wanna see the young guys should be happy spots are opened up.
