The #1 PP unit is the same as the Wild started with last season.

Who was the other unit in the most recent practice?

Quote

the No. 2 unit was Marco Rossi centering Marcus Johansson, Ryan Hartman, Freddy Gaudreau and Jared Spurgeon. --The Athletic

Hartman said he’s feeling back to normal after entering camp banged up. He was hurt in a gym accident and wasn’t able to work out or skate for 3-4 weeks prior to camp.

There’s a chance Hartman makes his preseason debut along with Kaprizov and Zuccarello during Thursday’s home game against the Colorado Avalanche.

I was under the impression that Hartman was banged up with an UBI. I think it will be very interesting to see how that right shoulder/muscle area is this season. I thought he gutted it out last season, even though he could not throw a right hand. Is it healed? Is he just playing through it again?

Hartsy is best when he can drop the gloves and chuck the rights. He doesn't have to do it much, he just needs to have it in his bag. I think a lot of the silly penalties he took last year was because he couldn't do that, but a response was needed for something. Like it or not, he is the security guard on that top line, so he needs to be able to do that.

It is my belief that while he gutted through the season, he lost significant strength in that area, so he needed to regain that in the offseason. If the injury prevented him from doing it, I am not optimistic that we will see the Hartman we've seen the past few years.

As for resigning players, I say don't do it. Yes, even Foligno. Let the season play on and let's see how they're doing. To me, Foligno is the least replaceable in the organization, but, others are right to point out that free agency could provide a Foligno type player for cheaper. What you wouldn't necessarily get, however, is the leadership he provides.

So, if Shooter reads this, please hold off. Let's see how Yurov, Khus%^&*(, and Ohgren look, + the guys on this side of the pond. There is a chance that Stramel could be ready at season's end.

Ohgren's injury apparently is serious enough they are flying him over to have Wild team doctors review and suggest next steps. No report on what the injury is, but I imagine it may leave Ohgren a few years away from stepping into a Wild lineup.

Based on what?  Intangibles or on ice?  If both what’s% of intangibles?

Size and style of play. I will amend the statement, though, not in the organization, but of the upcoming free agents is what I meant.

Iowa doesn't have anyone who can match what Foligno does. Ohgren might be able to grow into it, but as Huck points out, the injury is quite severe (I haven't heard an update on it). Yurov and Khus^&* can replace Zuccarello. The cavalry of defenders can replace Goligoski and Merrill. The Wall will replace the Flower.

Stramel is big, but isn't at the Foligno level for at least 2 seasons. Foligno helps balance out what is needed. I'm also thinking that one of the kids can give us what Hartman gives us. And, I haven't even mentioned Mikey Milne yet!

This sounds bad, is there any information/rumor out there for what it might be?
