Note to Moderators- The main content articles have the comments sections turned off. Please fix this issue. Tony and Hein's articles are both blocked and are both interesting content for comments.

Also, it would be nice to be able to turn some comments green again.

Thank you

Is the comments being turned off a company thing? I found the same thing on Twins Daily.

This sounds like a site wide bug. I'm sure the crack team of exterminators is on this currently! But, I'm a needy detail guy, and need an update!

So, who were the 5 tradeable guys?

  • Addison
  • Goligoski
  • Foligno
  • Rossi
  • Duhaime

Out of the list, as a team on a budget, I would suggest Duhaime is the least likely to be dealt followed by Rossi, though Rossi has some better trade value I'd think.

Duhaime's stats scream vet minimum-$1m on a 2 year deal. I think he offers the team value, and value is what we need for the next 2 years.

I think Goligoski is going to be a tough one. A better suggestion is to simply convince him retirement is his best option, and he can, maybe, pull Selanne and just play half a year for a club.

I was surprised not to see Zuccarello on the list.

Zuccarello did just nearly score 25 goals and 70 points...

Not saying I love the cost or what he brings to playoff hockey given his age but I like saying Kaprizov and the Norwegian Hobbit.

Being the final year of his deal and considering the tepid demand for little Euro guys it's probably not gonna turn into much for the Wild in a trade. They'd probably get the best value by keeping him with #97. Then at the trade deadline perhaps he could be moved or just play it out with MN.

That's one of the weird Fentonisms that kinda didn't go as bad as it looked prior to Kaprizov. Which doesn't really excuse Fenton for me. I simply don't think little Euro guys are where it's at for NHL roster construction.

I would think that this sort of production would be a welcomed addition to several teams. I'd also think that $6m in cap space could be pretty useful.

If we do trade for the center, like PLD or someone in that salary class, I'd think Zuccarello or Spurgeon would have to be the sacrificed contract. I think we can replace Zuccarello easier than we can replace Spurgeon at this time.
