This helps organize similar topics, like draft content or trade deadline stuff. A breaking news banner? Maybe a dynamic lead? The interaction from before was pretty active and it was nice to see relevant replies in real time.(Or close to it.) For example during a game or deadline day. It's a default setting that is set stupid-low for whatever reason.
