That's Wild
- The Minnesota Wild were in Philadelphia facing the Flyers on Thursday night and it really could not have gone worse. From the beginning, they were on their heels as the Flyers forechecked their way to a multi-goal lead. There was a slight comeback -- Mermis and Foligno cut the lead to just one in the third period -- but Minnetonka's own Bobby Brink put the nail in the coffin for the 6-2 Flyers win. [StarTribune]

- Ottawa Senators' Shane Pinto was just suspended 41 games for "activities related to sports wagering" and becomes the first NHL player in several decades to do so. [NBC Sports]
