That's Wild
- In their most recent round of cuts at training camp, the Minnesota Wild sent forward Riley Heidt back to the WHL. The 19-year-old dominated the league last season, but in his appearances through the preseason and camp, still appeared to be outmatched by the NHL. Heidt appears to be yet another victim of the NHL-CHL Agreement where he has to go back to juniors instead of turning pro and starting in the AHL at 19 years old. He has nothing left to learn in junior hockey and will score over 100 points yet again, or plateau. [NHL.com]
