- PWHL Minnesota can take home the inaugural Walter Cup championship in a winner-take-all Game 5 on Wednesday night in Boston after having it taken away from them in the dying minutes of Game 4. During double overtime at home, at the X, Minnesota had their game-winning goal called off after some hearty celebration -- and of course Boston came right back in it and ended up winning the game and forcing the one final game. It has been a rollercoaster of a season for Minnesota but we cannot deny that this winner-take-all game will be as good as you can hope for during an inaugural game of a new league. [Daily Faceoff]
- The main assumption regarding the Minnesota Wild's upcoming 2024 NHL Draft strategy is a preference for defensemen. With most of their prospects on the blue line not hitting the ceiling that most wanted to, they might just try to get a number of defensemen and hope that at least one sticks.
