That's Wild
- Halloween was almost an entire month ago but that didn't stop Minnesota Wild star Kirill Kaprizov from giving us a massive fright on Thursday night. Still, it was a fright. That, and more from the Wild's 5-3 win over Connor McDavid. [The Athletic]
- Marc-Andre Fleury earned the win -- and survived his early gaff to allow a far-off Leon Draisaitl goal -- in what was his 1,000th career start. [CTV]
- Zeev Buium is continuing last year's success with the University of Denver and was recently highlighted as the defender of the week. [NHL.com]

The most recent thing, is Elliotte Friedman connecting Philadelphia Flyers center Morgan Frost to a trade to the Chicago Blackhawks. Really interesting! [BSH]
- Maybe the worst news for every single hockey fan: Alex Ovechkin is officially out 4-6 weeks with a broken leg. The beating of the record will have to be put on hold for a bit. [NHL.com]
- The NHL explained their call to not suspend Zach Whitecloud for his hit on Matthew Knies. [ESPN]
