“One of the best hockey writers in the world” is soon going to be covering your Minnesota Wild according to Michael Russo of the Athletic.
Russo teased the announcement on Friday on Twitter and it has hockey fans a buzz and guessing who it might be.
Many fans worried that this might mean Russo was being poached for a larger National job, a situation that would clearly break the hearts of Wild Nation. Russo is largely considered one of, if not the best Hockey writers in the country. Although Russo didn't completely shut it down he made it clear that his interest was in covering hockey games.
Here’s to hoping the mystery hire is as good as it gets and that he will be teaming up with a still here Russo. We will keep you posted here at Zone Coverage as soon as we hear an announcement.
