I’m less impressed with the 9 goals in 2 games as I am with the stout defensive game the Wild are playing right now and the outstanding goaltending we’re seeing out of El Duberino. Sure, there were some soft spots in the game for the Wild. As Joe stated last night in the Quick Hits Live recap on Facebook, "The 2nd period was the 2nd period." That kind of stuff is bound to happen, but the team still possessed this bend-don't-break mentality and were able to get back on track for the 3rd. Love it!
So, I've been on a huge Steely Dan kick this week. I refuse to apologize for it. You in the younger generation would be well served to listen to some of this "Dad music" as my kids put it. The teenager tells me records are hip and with it these days, so watch the needle drop, and call me Deacon Blues.
