Good morning. I'm writing this just after midnight. The Oscars are over. They were mostly entertaining, and I am not bothered by the results. (For the record, my top three films of 2015: 3) the Martian 2) Tangerine 3) Mad Max: Fury Road.) As you're reading this it is the morning of the trade deadline. Things are happening. The world is changing around us. I am probably asleep.
I don't hate this. Kadri might not be a "true one c" but he's close. I look forward to seeing him on a line with his former WJC enemy Nino Neiderreiter. Also, I might be a Leafs fan now? Their front office seems really smart.
The Wild trade Jonas Brodin to Tampa for Jonathan Drouin.
Wow. Huh. Where has Drouin been for the last month or whatever? When can he get here? Is he alright? I'm concerned. This could be great, or it could be bad.
Wow. This is amazing. We get a center, a scorer, and I don't even have to feel bad about my child getting traded to that frozen garbage fire because he's going to get to play with his bff. This is so beautiful. Please don't wake me up.
