  • Wilderness Walk: Good to be home

    Guest

Let’s go over some news and notes:

    - The Wild sure seem to be a lot better when playing on home ice this season. Minnesota gets its second win over the Coyotes in just five days. [Hockey Wilderness]

    - If you’re sleeping on Kevin Fiala, you should probably stop! He’s looking much better after a rough start to the season. [Pioneer Press]

    - When Ryan Suter’s career is over, will he be worthy of the Hall of Fame? [The Athletic]

    Off the trail...

    - Yikes. It’s looking like the Penguins could be without Sidney Crosby for a while. The star forward is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks after getting core muscle surgery. [PensBurgh]

    - Scary moment at Flames practice yesterday when defenseman T.J. Brodie collapsed to the ice and began convulsing. Luckily, Brodie seems to be doing well in the hospital. [Matchsticks & Gasoline]

    - Forget about the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Let’s talk about who will be available in two years! [The Athletic]

    - Connor McDavid casually collected six points against the Avalanche last night. No big deal.
