Marty Brodeur has just signed with the Blues. Let that sink in a minute.
Big match up tonight for our Wild. We will be playing a solid team, with plenty of youth. (Over under on Vanek scoring tonight against his former team?) If the Wild give us the same kind of effort we saw against the Blues, thing should be fine. I thought we played exceptionally, minus a few turnovers and an inability to clear the zone at the worst times.
Then on Friday we get a solid match up against the Ducks. The (Non mighty)Ducks always seem to give us fits. I have disliked this Ducks team for quite some time. I don’t know if it’s their shitty non mighty duck jerseys(bring back the old 90’s ones), the fact that they have employed plenty of goons, or that stupid smirk on Corey Perry’s face every time he scores on us.
...or it could be that their extra large goalie pads cost us a Stanley Cup appearance in 03. Screw the Ducks!
Regardless, these next few games are crucial. On to you walk.
