Hello, Wilderness!
Well now that the snow storm which I thought we weren't going to get (because this was being reported on April Fools Day) has come and gone, you can now get back to your regularly scheduled spring activities.
Among those, one of those is watching the Wild continue their push towards the playoffs.
This continues tonight, as your Minnesota Wild return home for their last of their 2 games against the Penguins.
The last time the Wild and Pens met, it was at Consol Energy Center, where the Pens ended thumping the Wild with a final score of 5-2.
Now it's our turn to see if we can get some redemption by playing them in our house.
Game time tonight is at the usual 7 PM. As I mentioned in the postgame thread after Thursday night's contest with the Hawks, there's also going to be a viewing party for this game (I thought they only did this for away games). It's going to be at Billy's on Grand in St. Paul starting at 5 PM with free appetizers until 7, as well as drawing for tickets to this Tuesday's game against the Bruins and an autographed Parise jersey. If any of you are planning on going, let me know, and I may consider joining.
Wherever you decide to watch the game tonight, enjoy!
Until then, let's take a walk, shall we?
