  • Wilderness Walk for 9-27-2012: The Lockout is Over! (Stupid NFL)

    Guest

The NFL reportedly ended their lockout with their referees. This is great news for football fans, as now they can finally get their season started and stop missing the game they love. The empathy hockey fans have felt for football fans thus fan has been...

What's that? The NFL started three weeks ago, and didn't miss a single game?

    Screw you guys.

Yes, the refs are back in the NFL, meaning that football fans can go back to complaining about blown calls made by refs being paid $160,000+ to work about 25 days a year, rather than blown calls made by guys who make significantly less than that, and have reasons for blowing those calls.

    Not that I'm bitter.

A lockout could make Todd Bertuzzi feel like Bill Murray | ProHockeyTalk - Everyone say it with me: Awwww... Screw you, Todd. You never should have been let back on a hockey rink. Consider yourself lucky that you were dealing with a spineless twit of a commissioner, otherwise you would be serving coffee at Tim Hortons, you worthless pile of pig lard. I'm sure fans across the NHL are moved by how sad not being able to play make you. Yeah. Sure we are.

Dear NHLPA... don't include King Idiot in your next PSA, OK? Thanks.

Side note: please go to St. Paul and support your favorite places. Make sure they are still around when hockey returns.

But, as I learned last night on Twitter from Mr. Dellow, all of you went out and spent your money at the bar Wednesday night, right? Or somewhere? I mean, there was no Wild game, so you went and spent your normal expenditure somewhere else that night, yes?

Oh, and if you don't agree with Tyler on anything, you are a Holocaust denier. That's his argument. Unreal.

Since our photo caption capability is temporarily offline, we're going to make a game of it. Guess what word I used as my random search term today. Answer in tomorrow's Walk.

By the way, yesterday's search term was "mailbox."
