Hopefully you all are catching at least some of the playoffs. There have been some outstanding games, such as last night's Hawks / Nucks game. Back and forth scoring, high paced game... it's everything the Wild should be and just aren't. So if you want a look inside why we tell you all season that the Wild are not contenders, you should be watching right now. You'll see why immediately.
On a much more positive note, the Aeros are cruising in the AHL playoffs. We have recieved a few questions about different players that people have now learned who they are, and wonder why they have never been called up. When a guy has been in the AHL for a decade, and has never been called up, trust me, there's a reason. What it might be is less important than the fact that he just hasn't.
Trust me on this.
