  • Wilderness Walk for 3-17-2011: Game Day Edition

    Guest

Concussions are the topic of the day. There is not much out there that hasn't already been said, but it a topic that needs to continually be looked at. Aside from the money at stake for fans, players, and owners, there is one hard and fast truth that always seems to get glossed over.

We're talking about these guys' lives.

Even one concussion, or as doctors generally call them, traumatic brain injuries, can screw up a guy for life. Thus, as you read the links in the Walk today, keep that in mind. This is serious business in a business that is taken way too seriously. If you ever feel like a writer or player is over selling how important this is, you need to take a time out and re-think your position. Just sayin.

Oh, and go answer the Question of the Day on Facebook. It's fun, I promise.
