Your weekend with nothing more than some boys State High School Hockey Tournament on Thursday and Friday finishing up with the Championship games for Class A and Class AA on Saturday. Crowning 2 champions in the Edina Hornets for Class AA and St. Thomas Academy earned their 3rd straight Class A title.
Saturday brought us a little life on the road as the Minnesota Wild strolled in to Nashville looking to do anything different than how they normally perform on the road. Now they did give up a point as this game required a shootout, but with these guys you just have to get excited about walking out of someone else's home with 2 shiny new points. And not to mention they scored more than 1 goal in this game, who-da-thunk-it? Yet their was no time to celebrate. The guys needed to get home and back on the ice on Sunday to cap off your hockey drenched weekend.
