Good day to you Wilderness. As you all know thanks to Bryan's spooky pre-made post that posted AFTER his departure, he's gone fishing and he left me his smelly, smelly walking shoes so that I can do the Walk for a few days. I'll try to make the most of this to take ov-, er I mean fill his enormous shoes with the bitterness and snarkiness we've all come to tolerate from him.
As you also know thanks to Bryan's antics, yesterday was my birthday. Thanks for the wishes and gifts everyone, from the bottom of my heart, you made my day that much better!
And yes, I know of Canada's ugly collapse against the Russians... I'm prepared to face the music.
Make sure to visit the Hockey Wilderness Facebook Page for the Question of the day, also done by yours truly for the next few days. Have a great day y'all!

On 6-2-1 run, Minnesota Wild players sense tide is turning their way - TwinCities.com - Happy the Wild feel good, because beating the worst team in the NHL thanks to a flukey goal is not what I call being on the right track. Sorry, but I want more.

United States earns bronze medal with 4-2 win over Sweden at World Junior Championships | StarTribune.com - Funny, I think getting bronze is better than silver, because the USA won the bronze, whereas Canada lost the gold. It was a pretty exciting game.
