Happy write the wrong year on everything that needs to be dated day! Seriously, though, Happy New Year to everyone out in the Wilderness. We hope we can bring you another year of the best Wild coverage on the web. Or, if we can't do that, hopefully we can entertain you along the way.
Sounds from all reports that the game was not one to be witnessed. Not much for building the excitement of New Year's Eve, now is it? Hopefully everyone found something to take their mind off of it, and had a wonderful holiday. Perhpas there was copious amounts of alcohol involved, or maybe there was just sleep. No matter what you did, I really hope the loss didn't ruin the night for anyone.
No game today, so you have plenty of time to get to Facebook for the Question of the Day, and send in some "fact" based info for the HWRG2000. If not, we'll see you later for the top five stories of the year.
Wild News
Wild slumps vs. slumping team | StarTribune.com - Great article from Russo. The fans really do want something to cheer about. Anything.
O'Sullivan playing to impress again | StarTribune.com - From the tweets from Russo last night, it did not sound much like POS wanted to work very hard.
Wild drops 4-1 decision to Nashville; Zidlicky out "long-term" | StarTribune.com - Post game Rants.
Author's note: We are not avoiding including the Pioneer Press coverage of the team. Truly, the delay to put their articles online makes it impossible to include them in this post each day. We have no idea why there is the delay, but we just wanted everyone to know that we were not purposefully not including them.

Hitting The Post: Trade pays quick dividends; Isles do it again - I still don't think the Wiz is the solution to anything.
