Wilderness Walk: Dummy Domi

Hey everyone, sorry the Walk looks a little rough today. I had to put this together on my phone, but fear not! The Hockey Wilderness still has all the hockey news you need. Including a very short recap for the disappointing (but ultimately meaningless) preseason game against the St. Louis Blues. More disappointing than that, at least for Montreal Canadiens fans, is the behavior of Max Domi. He suckerpunched Aaron Ekblad during a preseason game when the Florida Panthers defenseman refused to drop the gloves during a preseason game. Domi faces supplemental discipline for his actions. Fortunately, Ekblad doesn’t appear to have been significantly injured. Unfortunately, the Department of Player Safety (informally a branch of the Department of Ironic Names) will likely consider that evidence that Domi’s punishment should be less severe and willfully ignore that an unexpected blow to the face has the potentially to be life changing.
