The Wild has now won four in a row—the second streak of that length this season—though last night was the first time that it has won in regulation since November 30th. It’s a huge win against the Auston-Matthews-less Maple Leafs, as Minnesota continues its run of home games against opponents from “America’s Hat.”
It’s been a big week for the Wild, which has quietly clawed its way into the top Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, and is now within four points of the Winnipeg Jets for third place in the Central Division. With Zach Parise and Jared Spurgeon both getting closer to returns, things are very much looking up.
Perhaps this Canadian kick will be the ticket to a long streak for the Green ‘n’ Wheats?
I went to the Jay Z concert on Wednesday, so here’s a little ditty from H.O.V.A. to take us through today’s Walk. It has the word “Wild” in it a lot, so I found it applicable enough.
