The Wild will be looking for some answers as they played another shoddy period that led to a loss. They will also be hoping this isn't a bad omen, as wins the previous two years had sparked the team to second half runs to the playoffs. But you have to remember, there are ups and downs in every season. The down swings tend to motivate struggling teams, and quality teams find ways to adjust. While there is little margin for error in the Central Division, the Wild should be able to right the course and land themselves solidly in the postseason. This one is a stinker, but its best to forget it and move on.
Also, since this is perhaps on the table (according to Russo), I'll just leave this here (via Own The Puck):
Today's musical selection is my favorite David Bowie song that didn't become a Bowie song until much later, in which he performed it with everyone from Billy Corgan to Elton John. Bowie wrote this song for Mott The Hoople on the spot when they rejected another song which became a Bowie anthem, Suffragette City.
Bonus track: The most fitting tribute to Ziggy Stardust.
