Good morning Wilderness! Another pre-season game-day is upon us as your Minnesota Wild are in Ohio to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets. This will be the second time these squads square off in the pre-season, the Jackets came to the X last week and dropped the Wild 3-1.
Pre-season cuts should start coming this week as the Iowa Wild roster will start to take shape and the Minnesota Wild roster will start to shrink. The competition is heating up among the young guns and they are certainly not making Coach Yeo and GMCF's job any easier. Barring some trade before the season some of the kids are going to have to swallow some disappointment and take their lumps in the AHL until a spot becomes available.
Tonight's game is of course not on TV, again. Of course we do have the radio broadcast with the friendly voices of Bob Kurtz and Tom Reid helping you visualize the action. Puck drops at 6 pm on your radio home for the Wild, KFAN 100.3 FM, also streaming on iheartradio.
