Yesterday was a happy day for all of us hockey fans, as the NHL finally released this year's regular season after they reached an agreement with the IOC to let NHL players play in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. With that being the only big news of yesterday, let's get right into today's Walk.

Minnesota Wild see 'a lot to like' in 2013-14 schedule - TwinCities.com - They should. Having new rivals like the St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, a reincarnation of the Minnesota-Chicago rivalry, as well as the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets now being in the eastern conference, this season should be interesting. Interconference games are now back on too, which means the Wild will be facing every team in the eastern conference once again.

The Wild are going to be on national TV a grand total of 18 times, with 12 games on the NBC Sports Network, and 6 games on NHL Network. Unfortunately, the Wild don't get any NBC games this season. :( But, the Wild are lucky to be on national TV for their season opener against the Kings on October 3rd.
