Short Walk today.
Some key topics the media and Wild fans should be focusing on.
The Vanek Situation:
Is Vanek struggling in Montreal a good thing for the Wild? Will his postseason play keep Chuck & Co uninterested this summer? How is his play effecting his asking price? Old, slow, and overpaid is not something we should be excited about.
The Matt Moulson debacle:
I was excited when the Wild made the trade. I was optimistic he could add some much needed 2nd line scoring, I didn’t like giving up two second round picks for a potential rental, but regardless most of MN was excited. Many even thought he would resign here, much like Jason Pomiville the season before. It didn’t work out for ether party. It sucks, but maybe a reunion with the Islanders would be good for him. Will this trade effect the Wild’s eagerness to give up draft picks/assets at the deadline in the coming seasons?
