The Wild started out pretty well tonight, then fell apart a bit, and then found a way to win against the Coyotes.
How cool is that? Especially that last part?
I don't remember a Wild team having this mix of talent and resiliency. I've basically spent the last week or two feeling like this:

Coming up next will be two games. The first will be at Dallas on Friday, and then the Wild host the Kings for their first meeting this season. Should be fun.
So, what do we have for news today? Other than the gut-it-out win last night, we've got lots of news from around the league. A big trade where the rich get richer, some other trade deadline chatter, and a shocking fight involving Minnesota's favorite choir boy.
Let's go for a Walk, shall we?

Jarome Iginla traded to Pittsburgh, not Boston, in late-night stunner | Puck Daddy - Yahoo! Sports- Iginla went to Pittsburgh for a worse package. Love seeing the Boston schadenfreude, but it comes with the drawback of Boston fans having something fresh and new to complain about. Because a fan base that has seen all their sports teams win a championship in the last 10 years is clearly among the most cursed in sports. I hate Boston fans.

What record does your team need down the stretch to make playoffs? | Backhand Shelf- If you're keeping score at home, these projections suspect that the Wild could finish the season playing worse than they were when the Yeo Firing Squad was out in full force, and still make the playoffs. At this point, Wild fans should probably start looking at a bit more than just playoffs. Let's see them gun for home ice.
Dan Boyle flips out after sucker punch, drops the gloves with Corey Perry (FIGHT VIDEO) | Puck Daddy - Yahoo! Sports- Hopefully, this doesn't detract from Perry's Lady Byng candidacy. I'm sure that his was an incidental sucker-punch. He's just not that kind of player.
