There has been a bit of confusion on Twitter about the event, so let's set a couple things straight. This is a joint effort between the MN NHL Alumni and the Wild. The Reunion is March 29-April 1 here in Saint Paul. The X has an NHL Alumni club up on the Club level, and the Minnesota Alumni Association is extremely active in the community. Hosting the event is something the Wild are doing to honor the group as they host their own reunion.
The North Stars moved to Dallas. Norm Green still sucks, but we're over it. This isn't Winnipeg. We can relive the memories of the North Stars without having some sort of false belief that the Stars are somehow a part of Wild franchise history. You know, other than the fact that the Stars leaving gave birth to the Wild in the first place.
