It’s the perfect time of year. Every NHL team is on a clean slate and their training camp hasn’t even begun yet. The entire league spotlight is solely on the various prospect showcase tournaments around the continent and the Minnesota Wild are no exception.
They will be facing the Chicago Blackhawks twice with the first game happening RIGHT NOW and the second at 1:00 p.m. CT.

It’s going to be about Marco Rossi and Matt Boldy, with some Calen Addison and Carson Lambos on the blue line, and maybe some appearances from rugged defenders Ryan O’Rourke and Daemon Hunt as well. We cannot forget about Adam Beckman, and maybe even Ivan Lodnia making the jump.
The games, albeit meaningless, are going to be quite a ride and fun as hell. So jump in the comments and get dreaming about what these youngsters will be doing in Minnesota for decades.
