It was another five goal loss.
I bet it does.
There just is no margin for error with the goaltending. They can't catch one break and it completely deflates the team. It's a serious case of "Here we go again" -itis. When there is no confidence in the goaltending, the team starts wondering if playing is futile.
But the Penguins would get make the extra point when Perron got his second of the game on John Curry. Curry came in after Backstrom gave up his sixth goal, which was, you know, great timing when the game was already way out of reach.
Ryan Suter logged 29:55 of ice time which really boggles my mind when the game was lost after Kunitz scored.
There are many adjectives Wild fans can call this game, but most are just plain inappropriate.
Wild lost 7-2 and any sign of salvaging this season might as well be written in cuneiform. If anyone needs help, it's us Wild fans.
