  • Wild injury updates: Nolan out, Brunette in, Foster waits

    Guest

After Owen Nolan left Sunday night's game against the Chicago Blackhawks early and did not return, many Wild fnas were a bit terrified, considering that Nolan is leading the team in goals. The next day, the news isn't any better. Tom Lynn indicates that  Nolan is diagnosed with a "cracked toe", which I supposed beats the typical lower body injury. Lynn says that Nolan will miss Tuesday's game with the Kings, but has no news past that. Nolan will be evaluated further in the next couple days.

On a positive note though, Andrew Brunette will be back against the Kings. While it's not likely that he'll get back to 509 games in a row, but it's nice to see him start an all new streak.

Speaking of positive notes, Kurtis Foster's stint with the Aeros has come to an end (Houston went 6-0 with Foster in the lineup), and Fozzie is back practicing with the Wild. Risebrough will give no news as to when Foster could possibly be back on the ice. As nice as it would be to see Fozzie back in action with the Wild, he'll have to knock either Skoula, Zidlicky, Bergeron or Johnsson out. I don't see that happening any time soon.
