  • Wild beat Columbus Blue Jackets in second game of road trip (12/8)

    Guest

The Minnesota Wild rebounded nicely in Columbus beating the Blue Jackets 2-1. Back to back road games can be tough, but the Wild came out ready to play after the embarrassing 5-0 loss in Detroit last night. The Wild have had trouble winning at the Columbus arena in the past and knew they would need to come out and play hard if they wanted a win. Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom made a bunch of saves and Brian Rolston got a third period slap shot to put the Wild ahead and send them back to the locker room victoriously.
