Hold on to your hats, ladies and gents. The Gophers and Sioux at the X on a Friday night? Hope the St. Paul Police Department didn't plan on getting rested up for St. Patrick's Day on Saturday. This game is going to be nuts, and the fans in the stands are going to be bonkers.
This is one of the biggest rivalries in college hockey. With the move of the Gophers to the new Big Ten conference, the rivalry will certainly take a hit, but for now, the hatred is red hot. As mentioned yesterday, UND travels well, and the Gophers hold a backyard advantage. The X, and the area surrounding it, are going to be hopping. If you're going to be there, wear a helmet.
